Join Us in 2022 for MIPS XIX in York, England

The Medical Image Perception Conference is a biennial conference dedicated to bringing together people interested in human and computer perception of medical image information and related subjects such as, detection and discrimination of abnormalities, cognitive and psychophysical processes, perception errors, search patterns, human & ideal observer models, computer-based perception (CAD and CADx), impact of display & ergonomic factors on image perception & performance, role of image processing on image perception & performance, and assessment methodologies.

Venue

We will host the meeting at the Novotel York Centre Hotel and will consider live-stream using a standard videoconferencing platform as an additional way to attend the meeting. Rate will be £98 per night including brealfast (excludes all taxes). A dedicated registration link will be provided as we get closer.

July 20th: Half-day meeting

On either July 18th or 19th the conference dinner reception will be held. Other potential group sight-seeing activities are being planned as well.

Scholarships

Scholarships will be available to trainees (undergraduates, grauate students, post docs, residents). These scholarships are primarily available to those who are presenting. To be considered for a scholarship, trainees need to submit an extended abstract that is 3 pages long along with the standard abstract information. The same content sections should be included with more in-depth detail. A letter from your advisor verifying student status must also be included.
